About Emerald Kitchen and Bath

Emerald Kitchen & Bath, located in Chester County Pennsylvania, is an NKBA certified Kitchen and Bath Design Studio. We specialize in custom kitchen and bath design, and also design and renovate other rooms including basements, mud rooms, laundry rooms, home offices and walk-in closets. Our staff is committed to creating inspired and stylish living spaces for the entire home.

Emerald Kitchen & Bath offers a wide selection of custom and semi-custom cabinetry. Our in-house designers and installation crew will collaborate with you from your initial ideas to project design and on through all phases of construction. The craftsmanship of our cabinetry combined with the talent and experience of our designers and installation crew makes for a striking finished remodeling project.

Team

Dan Smith, Owner and Project Manager
Dan began working as a business analyst for a large distribution company right out of college. He slowly came to the realization his interests were in the building and remodeling field. During his years working in an office, he dabbled in home renovations and house flipping. As his knowledge of the construction business and his carpentry skills progressed, he decided to leave the corporate world to start his own kitchen and bath remodeling business. Emerald Kitchen and Bath has been operating for 20 years under Dan’s ownership and expertise.

In addition to loving his work, Dan enjoys spending time with his family and friends and participating in local charity events. Dan is also a scuba Dive Master and enjoys playing guitar, bicycling, and golfing.

Jim Amole, Lead Carpenter and Project Manager
Jim was born in Spring City Pa. He has been working in the construction field since high school and has vast knowledge of various trades within the building business. jimmy joined Emerald Kitchen and Bath in 2025. Jimmy’s good nature and extensive carpentry skills have established him as an asset to Emerald.

Jimmy currently resides in Royersford with his wife Jen. He also enjoys auto racing, traveling, and camping.
